Would you try a Duck Pizza?

Have you ever seen a duck pizza on a menu before? Well I certainly haven’t so when I was browsing the Pizza Revolution menu the other day my eye’s widened in excitement at their “Get the Duck Outta Town” pizza.

Now I should point out, I have recently been on a crispy aromatic duck spree! I tend to go through phases of absolutely loving certain foods and duck is the current hot topic! I’ve been sampling from various Chinese takeaways and attempting to cook my own at home usually sticking with the classic pancake accompanied by hoisin sauce but when I saw the hoisin duck pizza I did question whether that would work.

I decided to give it a go – otherwise I may forever regret missing out and my gosh am I glad I did. This pizza was like nothing else I’ve tasted before! With a tomato base, mozzarella, shredded duck, hoisin sauce, fresh chilli, spring onion & coriander mojo sauce, the Asian-Italian fusion tasted light and refreshing, something that I can’t normally say about a pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect for dipping into sauce!

So, if lockdown has you tired of the same repetitive food or you simply can’t decide between a Chinese or Italian – go on and give it a try!
